It's the little things . . .

Yesterday, I went to the local Christian Bookstore to see if they would like to buy the Disciple's Cross necklaces that I am making. They said yes! They are going to start with 50! And see how they do. It will take me about 4 hours if I worked on them straight through to get 50 done and I will make $200! Pretty cool!
I said in my last post that it was a good deal. You should really check it out. Fortunately, in the contract with the company, you have to agree not to compete with anyone already selling them in the same area as far as selling to stores, so now I have that store locked in.

So, today I finally went to the city to replenish my supplies of paint and glaze for the shop. It's good to know I have THAT out of the way. Anyway, while we were in the city, we went to my brother-in-law's job to pick up the $100 check they had waiting for me for over a month from a "bird dog" fee. Hubby was excited because he said since it was extra money we weren't planning on, we should "play" a little. We went to the mall and ate linner (or dunch, as I like to call it) and then went to Hot Topic to look for the Spongebob/Metallica shirt Chris had seen last year. Well, they didn't have it anymore. :( Sad faces all around. What we DID get was this shirt for Parker and this shirt for Lydia. How cute are those?! So, Chris is all happy now. I think he likes to shop more than I do. I KNOW he likes to shop for shoes more than I do. It's weird. I don't even like shoes and he has to have a pair to match every outfit he has. He is a very coordinated-minded man. (Sorry, tangent.)
We leave and get out to the car and Parker says, "*sigh* this has been a tired day." He is asleep almost as soon as the car starts moving and Lydia joins in the sleep very soon after.
So, then we race home (an hour away) in time to get Parker to his horse-back riding lesson. He is getting more comfortable already and it was only his second lesson! We get home, I pop some cookies in the oven and we are all just sitting and relaxing and Chris and Parker are making raspberries very loudly. I say, "hey! stop that. it's annoying." and Parker says, "BEE--OTCH! Ha Ha!"

Yes, it's the little things I love so much.

Gotta go kill my husband for teaching him that.

Keep on Dancing,

Am I the only person who doesn't like to shop?! Even Will likes to shop! Yes, Hot Topic is the cool place in that stupid mall. I always buy my friends birthday presents there, but nothing for myself. I hate it! Miss you guys. Read my blog!

LOL BEE-OTCH!~ That's classic. It reminds me of "Meet the Fockers" when the baby's first word is "Ass Hooooooole".
